The Mines of Mohria is supposed to be a grand creation by the dwarves, but as the Fellowship nears the way is sealed and the door is shut, but the perseverance of the fellowship drives them onward, but the darkness and death that fills the ancient halls was not what was expected to be found.
When you persevere to do something, you never know what the outcome is and that is why keep trying and trying hoping to make something work. The hard work put through to get that door open symbolizes the relationship of the Fellowship and they way they are seem to work together. How would you know about the evil that lurks behind that door? Was it opened before? Of course you would think that if it was ancient, there would be spirits or disembodied voices.
ReplyDelete"How do you say enter in elvish?" Love that part!
ReplyDeleteGreat googlemoogly! Being a kid who never read "The Lord of the Rings" I am quite flabbergasted at the fact that there are still people who take time to read (though lengthy) fatastic epics like the said "The Lord of the Rings" or "Dune." By the way, I've seen a sort of prequel to the Lord of the Rings, one that is set a long time before the first age. Unfortunatly, I forget the name. Have you heard of it?
ReplyDeleteThis just speaks CREEPY to me! But good luck with it!
