The death of Gandalph still weighs heavily upon the minds of all the others in the Fellowship. The Fellowship has few chances to rest since they set out from the elves city, so the time to recover is welcome in the forest of the elves. For the road that lies ahead is dark and dangerous and the Fellowship will have to face the horrors that await them.

Reading Lord of the Rings, eh? :) Those are some great novels! It's pretty crappy when Gandalph sacrifices himself so that Frodo and the Fellowship can continue their journey to Mordor...
ReplyDeleteOk..It's is super that you've found time to read your book. I would love to see more of your thinking about the book and what it's "saying" to you. Teaching moment here: more effort would improve your blog tremendously.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't believe when Gandalph died in the movie but it probably explained more in the book. Did you cry when it happened? haha
ReplyDeleteYeah, I'm with your teach, need more info, ur thoughts, very bland blog. But don't you worry I have faith that Gandalph will be back
ReplyDeleteWhat road lies ahead? I haven't read the books or even seen the movies, so I'm kinda in the dark.
ReplyDeleteThe death of Gandalph was such a moving moment in the book. I think it is the emotion of the characters that movies just can't capture, and Tolkein's writing at this part was wonderful. Gunner...this is a bit better, I think, but need MORE. You CAN do it!
ReplyDeleteI have never heard of either blogs that you have made, I may be a bit behind in that case but I'm not understanding one thing lol.
